In a very refreshing featuring by rock group No Brain, Big Bang's second music video "Oh My Friend" from their third mini-album "Stand Up" is an electrifying and groundbreaking song that artfully stabilizes the ridges between hip hop and rock. It is iced tea on a hot day.
Sike. The chorus by No Brain is forgettable and the rapping is, well rap. There is so little to say I feel bad. I'm sure Big Bang fans will love it anyway.
G-Dragon decides to wear the full psycho suit, probably right after cross-dressing in some dark parking lot if you know what I mean. TOP writes speeding tickets, Dae Sung wants to become a heavyweight champion, Seung Ri is a mime, and Tae Yang is a welder. Enjoy.
The quintuplets are back with their third mini-album "Stand Up" on the day of the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
G-Dragon and TOP act as rivaling knights for the female counterpart Park Min Young who you have probably seen from the drama "I Am Sam." Aside from the two main Big Bang actors, the remaining five play only minor roles in the music video as well as in the song itself.
Some frightening scenes include TOP's major eyeliner work and G-Dragon's attempt at cross-dressing midway that are just some of the reasons why parents should exercise parental discretion. It's Joker meets Zombie Nightmare.
All kidding aside, the song is a much darker (and better) hip-hop than their previous releases and from mainstream experience I can tell you this will be a hit.
Apparently, playing computer games in Korea is not considered dorky and no longer limited to teenage boys. Nexon, a Korean game distributor, advertised their new game "Mabinogi" with the help of Girl's Generation members Jessica, Tiffany, and Seo Hyun.
Probably to save money, Nexon hired only one of the three singers to act in the music video which happened to be Tiffany. She wears about five different outfits and prances around with men in bear costumes. Something like that.
Since when did game commercials use pop girl groups to advertise their product? No doubt, they're trying to trick teenybopper girls and obsessed boy fans into playing the game. Waste of money in my books. But all is well because we get to see (good?) and hear (bad?) more of our cute singers!
빨간 자동차 (Red Car) is a Latin/Jamaican-inspired pop song on Lee Hyori's third album "It's Hyorish." Originally featuring Kim Gun Mo, Hyori borrows the vocals of SG Wannabe member Kim Jin Ho for this mnet performance on July 31.
In complete summer fashion, Lee Hyori emerges from a sporty red car donning a Daisy Duke outfit.
Jin Ho's voice is as smooth as ever and it looks like he lost a few pounds and gained some muscle mass. Lee Hyori has still got the body and moves - recent netizen attacks saying she's gained weight are outrageous.
